The short version. We collect a little information to run this website and to talk with practices that book a demo. We don't sell it. Please don't send us patient information through this website or by email.
Who we are
This policy explains how Remitra Health, Inc. ("Remitra", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through remitra.health and when you contact us. Questions? Email hello@remitra.health.
Patient health information
Remitra makes software for healthcare practices. If we handle protected health information (PHI) for a practice, we do so as that practice's business associate, under a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and the HIPAA rules. That information is governed by the BAA and our agreement with the practice — not by this website policy.
If you're a patient, your healthcare provider controls your health information. Please contact them directly with questions or requests about your records.
This website is not designed to receive health information. Please don't include patient details when you book a call or email us.
What we collect
Information you give us
- When you book a demo call through our Google Calendar booking page: your name, email address, and any answers you provide (for example, your practice name and who handles your billing).
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically
- Usage analytics (Microsoft Clarity). We use Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, time spent on each section, and session recordings of on-page activity. Clarity also receives technical details such as your browser, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the page that referred you. What Clarity may store in your browser depends on your cookie choices (see below).
- Hosting and security (Cloudflare). Our site is served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect against abuse, and may produce aggregated, cookieless traffic statistics.
Cookies
Our cookie banner lets you Accept all, Deny, or Choose cookies by category. Everything optional is off until you choose:
- Strictly necessary (always on): we save your choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again.
- Analytics (off by default): lets Clarity set cookies on remitra.health so it can recognize repeat visits and link sessions together.
- Advertising (off by default): lets Microsoft use Clarity data for advertising purposes. We don't run ads.
Clarity loads on every page so we can see how the site is used. Even before you choose, and if you choose Deny, Microsoft's Clarity and Bing services may set their own cookies on their domains (clarity.ms and bing.com) when Clarity loads; we don't control those cookies and they're covered by Microsoft's privacy statement. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Deny for every optional category. You can change your choice any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
How we use information
- To schedule and hold demo calls, and to follow up with you about Remitra.
- To understand how people use the site so we can make it clearer and more useful.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To comply with the law and enforce our Terms.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run this site and talk with you, under their own privacy terms:
- Google — booking calendar, email, and fonts.
- Microsoft — Clarity analytics.
- Cloudflare — hosting and security.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition (in which case this policy would continue to apply to it).
How long we keep it
We keep booking and email information for as long as we're in conversation with you or your practice, and delete it when you ask or when it's no longer needed. Clarity data is kept for a limited period set by Microsoft and then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of analytics cookies at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights. Email hello@remitra.health and we'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us anything sensitive by email. Read more on our HIPAA & security page.
Children
This website is meant for healthcare practices and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site.
